अक्षय तृतीया की तिथि और शुभ मुहूर्त:
हर वर्ष वैशाख मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की तृतीया तिथि को अक्षय तृतीया मनाई जाती है। इस दिन को बेहद शुभ माना जाता है। कहा जाता है कि इस दिन शुभ कार्य किए जा सकते हैं।
अक्षय तृतीया का सर्वसिद्ध मुहूर्त के रूप में भी महत्व माना गया है। इस दिन बिना पंचांग देखे कोई भी शुभ कार्य किया जा सकता है। इस दिन विवाह, गृह-प्रवेश, वस्त्र-आभूषणों की खरीददारी या घर, भूखंड, वाहन आदि की खरीददारी जैसे कार्य किए जा सकते हैं। पुराणों में लिखा है कि इस दिन पितरों को किया गया तर्पण तथा पिन्डदान बेहद फलदायक होती है। इस दिन गंगा स्नान करने से तथा भगवत पूजन से समस्त पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं।
- अक्षय तृतीया के दिन अबूझ मुहूर्त रहता है। इस पावन दिन किसी भी तरह के शुभ कार्य किए जा सकते हैं।
- इस पावन दिन भगवान विष्णु और माता लक्ष्मी की पूजा करने से विशेष फल की प्राप्ति होती है।
- धार्मिक शास्त्रों के अनुसार अक्षय तृतीया के पावन दिन भगवान परशुराम का जन्म हुआ था।
- अक्षय तृतीया के दिन पितृ संबंधित कार्य करना भी शुभ रहता है।
- धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार इस दिन दान- पुण्य करने का भी बहुत अधिक महत्व होता है।
- अक्षय तृतीया के पावन दिन सोना खरीदने की परंपरा भी है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि इस दिन सोने की खरीददारी करने से घर में सुख- समृद्धि आती है।

On this day, things like marriage, house-entry, purchase of clothes or jewelery or purchase of house, plots, vehicles etc. can be done. It is written in the Puranas that the tarpan and pinddaan offered to the ancestors on this day is very fruitful. On this day, all sins are destroyed by bathing the Ganges and worshiping God.
